Data Analytics Architect, Toyota Motor NA
I am passionate about working with organizations and communities to help them build trust in their data and make meaningful use of it as effectively as possible. This can entail wrangling the data, coaching on the impact of bias on the data or vice versa, or creating visualizations to communicate with an audience compellingly.
My career experience includes working in the analytics space across various sectors for over 20 years using tools ranging from Excel or homegrown solutions to Tableau. I also volunteered with an NGO for a similar time, performing damage assessment and information management for large and small disasters.
I enjoy consulting and trying to tackle complex challenges because it often results in improved knowledge or skills for someone, and I love when I can have a hand in innovation that leads to the betterment of lives. Organizations supporting and driving advocacy in equity and inclusion, sustainability, public health, education, and humanitarian relief might benefit the most from what I have to offer, but I very much follow Ralph Waldo Emerson's definition of success in my pursuits.
For the technically-minded, I am a certified Tableau Consultant and Tableau Architect with experience in deploying and maintaining healthy Tableau environments and creating clean, accessible, and occasionally whimsical data visualizations... one of which was a Top 10 entry for Iron Viz.
