The Information Lab
I'm an enthusiastic data analyst with over two years experience using Tableau & Alteryx for a wide range of data projects. Working with the Information Lab my most recent clients have been large corporates such as Xerox, Pfizer and MTV. I also used Tableau & Alteryx on a strategic consultancy project for Cisco.
I'm keen to assist with both data manipulation and data visualisation projects.
The main areas I would aim to assist a charity would be; data prep, data investigation, data visualisation and enabling people to use Tableau more effectively.
I'm particularly interested in assisting environmental charities, but will happily work with any charities.
I grew up in Kenya and came to the UK when I was 13, for secondary school. I studied marine biology at the University of Liverpool, where I published my dissertation, on coral reef dynamics, in the scientific journal PLoS ONE. I then did my masters in tropical coastal management at Newcastle University. I have worked as a data analyst / consultant for around 3 years and have been using Tableau for just over two years. I am passionate about data analysis and am really excited about the opportunity to help charities improve their understanding of their data.
